What is this?
Pinnacle Awards are due Friday, September 13! Need a boost of encouragement or a chance to ask questions and gather ideas from fellow PR professionals as you prepare your submissions? Join Kelly Welsh, Chief Marketing Officer at Norfolk Botanical Garden, and other PRSA Hampton Roads members for our casual virtual coffee chat on Thursday, September 5, at 10 am. Register for FREE to receive the Zoom link.
On the impact of receiving Pinnacle Awards, Kelly shares: “We are deeply honored to have received recognition from PRSA, Hampton Roads Chapter for a single-issue publication, highlighting our efforts in creating The Garden of Tomorrow book: Saving the Most Threatened Plants Around the World. We were even more elated to be awarded the Overall Excellence Award. This book highlights numerous rare and endangered plants that will be featured in the Perry Conservatory, demonstrating conservation in action. As a non-profit organization, we work within a limited budget and rely on creativity, so receiving this award is especially meaningful to us. The Marketing Team in collaboration with horticulture and Education staff captured the critical need to save plants that could one day have a global impact on pharmacology and food sources.”
